There were few passengers there already, and I sat down to enjoy a delicious
breakfast of a delicious muffin, fresh orange juice and coffee (as
if I needed waking up)! Thanking the plethora of staff involved with serving
me, I chose a seat in the middle of the lounge facing the entrance, so I could
snoop on my fellow passengers :).

Surveying the room, I saw a couple of excited Japanese guys chattering away
in one corner, stony-faced businessmen and a chap with a big camera
round his neck :) We were joined by more passengers, including a
tall guy wearing shorts who I took to be a wrestler, and...Joan Collins!
Fashionably dressed in a suit & broad-rimmed hat, she was accompanied
by her husband, Percy Gibson.

After sitting for a while longer in a euphoric daze, the call that
"British Airways flight BA002, supersonic service to London is
ready for boarding". Walking to the aircraft, I offered to
take a photo of the guy with the camera, thus avoiding being classed as
a tourist when I gave him my small digital camera to take my photo
after our fellow passengers had boarded!!!
